It begins with carefully roasted espresso beans from Clarena's Coffee in the New Hampshire Lakes Region. Clarena's Colombian, and sources her beans entirely from female farmers in South and Central America.
We caramelized organic sugar to the hard crack stage, then ground it to a powder and added it, along with some A2/organic milk to Ecuador beans for making a sweet, caramelly, earthy milk chocolate.
