FIVE YEARS. That's how long it took to get our hands on the extraordinary cacao. The flavor is at once dark and bright, nutty and fruity--there's much to like.
The cacao is a collaboration between grower Juan Echevarria, the USDA-TARS research station in Mayaguez, and farmers on the Island.
This bar shines at 68% cacao.
Each Coqui Cacao bar is made up of three bamboo-shaped pieces, weighs about 80g / 2.8oz, and is packaged in an elegant Lokta paper box, handmade for us in Nepal.
Contains Puerto Rican cacao beans, organic cane sugar, cocoa butter, organic sunflower lecithin, and tinted mica lustre dust (for color). Produced in a facility that processes dairy, flour, and nuts.
