Bean to bar microbatch chocolate crafted from unusual cacao at Dancing Lion Chocolate.
These beans are a collaboration between USAID, the Alianza Cacao of Peru, and my friends Robin and Marcos of Ucayali River Cacao. This chocolate has layers of flavors with notes of vanilla custard and tart yellow tropical fruits. It's spectacular, and remarkably easy to eat.
Each Coqui Cacao bar weighs about 80g / 2.8oz and is packaged in an elegant Lokta paper box, handmade for us in Nepal.
Contains cacao beans, organic cane sugar, cocoa butter, organic sunflower lecithin, and tinted mica lustre dust (for color). Produced in a facility that processes dairy, flour, and nuts.
