Yuzu Cocoa Butter with Rare Tea, Saffron, and Dark Chocolate
We crafted this as a complex vibrant flavor experience. Calligraphy is the finished version, while Experiments in Calligraphy. are iterations on the theme that leads to the finished version.
Calligraphy begins with an explosion of tart Yuzu--Japanese lemon. Saffron notes sidle in early, then house-made dark chocolate balances the initial intensity. As the chocolates dissipate, crisp tea leaves fill in at the back of the throat, leaving only the flavors of rare Wuyi wulong tea.
Experiments in Calligraphy follows a similar profile, but without the saffron and with an assortment of different black and wulong teas.
Each Calligraphy-type bar weighs about 50g / 1.7oz and is packaged in an elegant Lokta paper box, handmade for us in Nepal.
Contains dark chocolate (cacao, sugar, cocoa butter, sunflower lecithin), yuzu couverture (sugar, cocoa butter, maltodextrin, yuzu juice, non-GMO soy lecithin), dark chocolate (Peru cacao beans, organic sugar, cocoa butter, organic sunflower lecithin), saffron, and tinted mica lustre dust (for color). Produced in a facility that processes dairy, gluten, and nuts.
