I was a physicist once. This bar is about how our perceptions affect our realities; a concept famously demonstrated by physicist Thomas Young in 1801. This bar is also reflects the hamon: the juxtaposition of hard and soft steel that appears when a Japanese sword is quenched during tempering. I'm not just a physicist.
